Service Description

Book a terrarium building workshop with The Wilder! Available in Squamish, Vancouver, Whistler, or anywhere in the Lower Mainland, BC. Workshops come with a plant, soil, charcoal, stones, a container, and all of the tools you'll need to put your terrarium together. A terrarium is planted to look like a miniature garden or forest enclosed in its own little world. Think of it as a mini-greenhouse. Create your own ecosystem and watch how it grows and changes throughout its lifetime. In a terrarium, the plants and soil in the terrarium recycle water by releasing water vapour. Terrariums are self-nourishing, which is why don't require much maintenance, especially if they are sealed. This makes them work well for people with busy lives or for those that struggle to keep plants alive - so you don't need a green thumb! Terrariums look amazing in any setting, there is something really magical about having an entire plant ecosystem on your countertop. $350 for up to 6 people. Add $60 per person after that. Price may vary depending on the number of participants, the length of the workshop, the plants requested, and the location of the workshop. Transportation costs for workshops outside of Squamish, BC may be extra. Hosted in your private residence, office building, or contact us to reserve an outdoor space in Squamish, BC.

We are so honoured to be able to live and learn on the beautiful unceded, ancestral, and occupied, traditional lands of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nation. Every day we take a moment to put our hands on this earth, and be mindful about what this means and the generational trauma that has come and will continue to come with society's choices. Every day we strive to work with others to be stewards of this incredible land and to acknowledge and hold space for those who came before, and we welcome opportunities to do more and to do better.
